Honeyfoam™ TKO-X

I'm very happy with my new purchase. It needs some time to break in, like 10 hours, lighter than my previous brand.

Using the TKO-X is really fun and easy to handle.The look is great and the sweet spot is just right. I'll recommend the TKO-X to anyone who wants to level up and have a good time playing pickleball.

This paddle checks all the boxes. The Honeyfoam TKO-X delivers exceptional touch, impressive spin, and plenty of power when you need it, all while maintaining outstanding control. The grit grabs the ball extremely well, making it easy to shape shots, generate heavy topspin, and confidently execute resets, drops, and drives.
What stands out most to me is the feel. You can actually sense the ball making contact with the face of the paddle, and the Honeyfoam core does an excellent job absorbing shock and vibration. That combination creates a connected, responsive feel that allows the ball to dwell on the paddle just long enough to inspire confidence without feeling mushy. For players who value touch and feedback, this is a huge advantage.
Another pleasant surprise was how quickly I got dialed in with this paddle. Coming from a Selkirk BoomStik and a Joola Magnus Pro IV, I've experienced paddles that required a significant adjustment period. That wasn't the case here. From the first session, the Honeyfoam TKO-X felt natural and intuitive. The transition was seamless, and I found myself trusting it almost immediately.
For my game, the 14mm version strikes the perfect balance between control and pop. It has officially become my go-to paddle for doubles play, where touch, resets, and quick hands are critical. I still reach for the Magnus Pro IV when playing singles or skinny singles, but for doubles, the Honeyfoam TKO-X has earned a permanent spot in my bag.
The only drawback is that the paddle is currently approved by the UPA/PPA but not by USA Pickleball. For players who compete exclusively in USA Pickleball-sanctioned events, that's an important consideration. Outside of that limitation, this paddle has been a home run for me and is one of the easiest transitions I've experienced in years of testing and competing with different paddles.
Overall, this paddle offers a rare blend of touch, spin, control, and accessible power. If you're looking for a paddle that feels connected, forgiving, and tournament-ready (outside of USAP events), the Honeyfoam TKO-X 14mm is absolutely worth a serious look.

Great control and power. It has a silent power hit as others paddles are loud when you hit a power shot.

Absolutely OBSESSED with this paddle!! I’ve been using the Bantam ALW-C 12.7mm for the last 3 years and was nervous about switching to a new shape and core paddle. Boy was I glad I switched. This paddle is PLUSH! The ball feels so good off the paddle, I have power, I have control, I have more confidence, total game changer. So fricken good!

This was my first experience playing with Paddletek paddles, and I can honestly say I'm a fan. Around my area, most players use Joola or Selkirk paddles, and while those brands offer some excellent models, I've personally played with Selkirk for nearly eight years.

Wanting to try something different, I picked up the Paddletek Bantam TKO-X Honeycomb Foam Core paddles in both the 14mm and 16mm versions, and I've been genuinely impressed. My game has noticeably improved since making the switch.

I hadn't played with a 16mm paddle in several years, and I was surprised by how much control, consistency, and confidence it gave me. I'm placing shots more accurately, benefiting from a large sweet spot, and still getting plenty of power when I need it.

The 14mm version is equally impressive. It offers great responsiveness and power, and I find myself switching between the two paddles throughout my sessions depending on what I'm working on. The transition is seamless because both paddles perform exceptionally well.

If you're considering trying something new, I highly recommend both the 14mm and 16mm TKO-X models. They've elevated my game and made pickleball even more enjoyable.

A powerful paddle but doesn’t offer the control and sweet spot that the Honeyfoam 16 does. Both, however, are great to have in the Paddletek lineup.
